Spending time in God’s Word is one of the most beautiful and peaceful parts of my day.
Whether it’s early in the morning with a hot cup of coffee or at night when the house is quiet, I treasure those moments with my Bible, journal, and Jesus.
Over the years, I’ve discovered a few tools that really help me go deeper, stay organized, and keep myself focused.
I’m sharing my top 10 must-haves for Bible study, and I pray they bless your quiet time too!
1. A Bible You Love to Read
Whether it’s a study Bible, journaling Bible, or a classic KJV or NIV, choose one that fits your style and helps you stay engaged in the Word.
Who says your bible should look boring? Get yourself a bible with embroidered flowers. If you already have a bible, get one for a friend.
2. Pens, Highlighters & Tabs
Of course you have to color code the Scriptures, it helps bring things to life and makes it easy to find themes later.
Now it’s important to get the right highlighters. You do not want to mark up the other side of the page.
That’s why I love love love the Bible Highlighters. It comes in different colors and it will not bleed.
3. A Study Journal
Writing out verses, prayers, and reflections can help slow us down and really meditate on God’s Word.
My bookshelf is full of pretty journals filled with notes and thoughts that I can reflect on at any time.

- Faithworks – In Christ Alone Embroidered Journal
4. A Faithbox Subscription
This monthly box is such a treat! It comes with devotionals, Christian books, and beautiful items to encourage your walk with Christ.
This also makes a very nice gift. So get one for yourself and one for a friend.

5. Solid Devotionals
A devotional can offer fresh insight and encouragement, especially on those days when you need a little guidance on where to begin.
One of my favorite study tools is the One Year Praying Through the Bible daily devotional. You read verses from the Old Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and the New Testament every day. It’s a great way to start the day.
6. A Peaceful Atmosphere
Set up a cozy corner with a candle, and some soft worship music to help set the tone for quiet time with The Lord.
Check out this beautiful wooden cross which symbolizes the center of our faith.
7. A Cute Bible Bag or Tote
Keep everything in one place with a cute and functional Bible bag!
This bible bag has a beautiful reminder embroidered on the front! BE STILL. There are several compartments on the inside to hold your markers and sticky pads too.
8. Scripture Memory Cards
Hiding God’s Word in your heart is easier when you have these on hand!
It’s also a great way to share your faith. Carry a few cards with you to hand them out to friends and family.
9. A Worship Playlist or Quiet Background Music
Music can shift the atmosphere and help you focus during your study time. Create your own playlist or stream one from YouTube or Spotify.
Recently I have been listening to Jesus’ Image on repeat. Let’s not forget DappyTKeys, he plays worship music with his piano.
It’s such a great way to dive deep in your bible study.
10. An Encouraging Community
Whether it’s a local Bible study, an online group, or just a friend you can text, having people to pray with and share insights with makes all the difference.
